After yesterdays disappointment, I felt very low; I felt like I needed to see Theo again so I went back to the Glenfield for a few hours.
Shortly after I arrived, Dr Abdul Duke appeared at Theo's bedspace and told me there were no radiographers in Leicester or Nottingham that could help with an hepatic entry..I replied 'oh' with some dismay.
He then informed me that he had 'an old mate at Birmingham children's hospital' who he had called and arranged for him to come over tomorrow (wednesday) afternoon. Again, i replied 'oh' but with more cheer.
This radiographer is experienced with hepatic (via the liver) entry so combined with Dr Duke's expertise as a cardiologist I am quite content Theo is getting the care he deserves.
So it is rescheduled for this afternoon.
Cross everything again.

Everything crossed as requested - which makes typing quite tricky! It sounds like Theo really is getting the best care. He's in our thoughts constantly, as are you all. Good luck this afternoon little Theo, we send you all our love,

Hope the op works out this afternoon. It breaks my heart to think of the wee man "too scarred from all the other lines... " at this stage of his life. Here's to things looking up.
Much love, Yann & Pen
