Keep leaving messages, its great!

Theo is so jaundiced at the moment he looks like he's either discovered the St Tropez tan or has been tango-ed. His liver is failing due to the intravenous nutrition. There is now an urgency for him monogen feeds to increase so he has a tube through his nose that bypasses his stomach right into his small intestine which will mean no more vomiting.

He had a bronchoscopy this morning - a fibre optic camera inserted into lungs. There is some small damage from the ventilator tube so it has been replaced with a longer one.
He was due to have a tracheostomy today but has signs of infection so the doctors do not want to intervene too much - he had his chest drain out, in and out again today too.

Because of all this excitement, he has been paralysed and sedated for the weekend so fun times with Theo are out out out.

Hello Colin and Willow
Poor Theo. He keeps fighting. A good sleep over the weekend sounds like what he needs - shame about the lack of play.
Give our live to Sasha and Tabby too.
Love Sally, Peter and Delyth
