Happy New Year

Dont have any new photos to date so I will keep it brief.

Mum and Dad have been speeding up with training. we are getting closer to being able to take him off ward for short periods to get used to being in charge.

Theo goes to glenfield for some serious heart scans on the 8th; his first taste of fresh air and daylight since the end of September.

We have a meeting with the Diana nurses on the 20th, and another planning meeting with Theo's full team on the 23rd.

Tabitha has her pre-op assessment on the 5th, followed by tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on the 12th. Let's hope it puts an end to the sleep apnoea and means me and Colin get a nights sleep or 2 before Theo comes home and smashes that forever!!

Thank you to everyone who keeps on supporting us and making the effort to find time and money to provide practical assistance where possible. I know it seems like the drama ended when Theo stabilised- the immediate pain and acute anxiety passed - but the long term aspects and pressures are exhausting and devastating for us. I won't speak for Colin, though I know he does suffer; life for me is out of control and I find my emotional energy very low indeed.

However many challenges we face, I am really looking forward to having Theo home and being able to be his mum all day long. I miss him so much and hate leaving him when I have to go. March seems so close already!

Happy new year to you all. I hope it brings with it the chance to live together under the same roof. It was lovely to catch up with you over Christmas and to see Theo's gorgeous smile. Sending love and hugs Pand xxxxx

Happy new year to you all!
Lovely photos of Theo, he has really grown!

It´s fantastic to think that he has come this far considering all of the difficulties he (and you two) has had to go through since the summer. When all of this i over and he´s up and buzzing, remember to read your blogg from the starting date and be amazed how strong you have been and what a true fighter he is.

We are amazed!
Love from the Parker family in Sweden. xxx
