As if we haven't got enough going on...

Theo came home again today (yes, apologies for not putting up pics yet) and we even managed to take him over to school when we picked up Sacha. There were lots of double takes in the playground as people slowly realised who I had in the pram. i.e. Not Tabby.

After a lovely day, we packed Theo into the car with his carer, Dawn, in the back and set off up the A6..only to flipping break down on the dual carriageway. The car simply rolled to a halt after losing all power. Had to call police, paramedics and RAC to rescue us - police as we were parked rather dangerously diagonally into the lane, ambulance to get Theo back to hospital before his next meds/feed/trachey cares due and RAC for stupid car.
Felt rather ridiculous and tearful as was not able to get out of car to say goodbye to Theo after such a nice day. Dawn had to go with him, leaving me in the hateful car. Irony is, it's booked into the garage tomorrow morning to have the fault fixed.

Really feel like comfort eating but am dedicated to weight watchers again. Good resolve.

whoever you are, anonymous, please bear in mind that the garage had assessed the car on tuesday and reassured us it was safe to drive! we would NEVER had thought to bring Theo home at all otherwise!

I think you're cramming all possible (stressful) life events into as short a time period as possible (Do you think you are part of an alien experiment?). You seem to be coping amazingly well.
Great to hear Theo has made it home. Did he like being out and about in the buggy? It must have been so exciting for him to see so many kids. Looking forward to the photos.
Good luck for the next adventure!
