We have been taking Theo up to Glenfield hospital every other day recently for blood tests. that makes 7 visits in a fortnight. Very tiring. His kidney function is under close scrutiny thanks to the cardiac drug being reintroduced.
He is also on his second course on antibiotics in a fortnight poor soul, for nasty trachy infections.
Tomorrow, Friday, he and I are going to stay overnight at hotel Le Royale Infirmary, so that he can have the pH study done. It is 24 hours of discomfort and boredom I should think, so I am not looking forward to this and I expect if he yet had that mental ability, nor would he.

Oh dear, hope the visits thin out soon. Don't suppose you're used to boredom - maybe take up knitting for the evening!
Hope all goes well

I have absolutely no idea how you fit everything in - i am sure the answer is you don't but juggling is an art form for any Mum and you are doing the most amazing job at it. Thinking of you all

I admire your upbeat and honest reports of Theo's progress. Being a parent can be hard work for anyone- especially in the holidays-and more so for you-trying to fit family life around hospital visits.
I keep meaning to offer to ask Sasha round more often,I think we just get bogged down with the day to day stuff and forget to ask - but please DO ask any time, if we can help out- Sasha is more than welcome and is always good company.
Keep writing the blog- you write so beautifully,
Thinking of you all
