Unfortunately Theo's kidneys are still having difficulties and his blood tests show this. As a result the consultants have decided to drop another cardiac medicine and hope he copes without it. A further cardiac review this month will reassure or disappoint no doubt!

In general he is well and happy as ever. He has learned how to bounce/shuffle across the room on his bottom - this involves flapping arms very hard up and down to create upward movement and during this, his feet pull him milimetres forward. Over 10 minutes he can traverse the room. Ahh!!

He can now spend several hours per day off the ventilator which makes life SOOOOO
much easier. It means I can take him to playgroup, put him in the bath, wander off down the garden etc and I only have to take the suction unit, emergency trachy bag, suction catheters, feed pump, milk, medicines, syringes and NG emergency bag, with the nappies, clothes etc. phew, when we go anywhere (yes, some of it even when we go down the garden).

Congratulations to Nick and Panda on the birth of baby MAX MUDDLE! What a name!!!!

Well done Theo! Mobile and vent free! Must be great to know his heart can support the extra effort -very good exercise, and cute too.
Not so sure on the typing tho - I thought it was some uber cool text speak (which at 34, going on 54) I stood no chance of understanding!!
Lots of love
Sally xx
